I took a pledge! My nephew and I and are both registered at AkoMismo.org and we both took pledges… well, I still have only one until now but it’s better than nothing, right? And my pledge is “Ako mismo ipagmamalaki ko ang aking pagiging Pilipino” (I, myself, will be proud to be a Filipino). And last Friday, my nephew and I went to this…

It actually felt nice to have participated in an event that really make sense, know what I mean? It’s just sad because when you look at the commitment wall online, lots of people are posting pledges which obviously were menat to ridicule. Hay… Pinoy nga naman.
I was even planning to go to Eastwood for the Boto Mo, iPatrol Mo: Ako ang Simula event. But I didn’t want to drag my nephew there anymore since he’s not yet a voter. Besides, I only had a couple hours of sleep the night before so I just reserved my energy for the dog tag day event.
I’m just starting to read and I haven’t read that many books in my llife. Anyway, I’m not familiar with Jodi Picoult and her works until someone form one of my scrap teams mentioned that her book My Sister’s Keeper was currently adapted into film. It has an interesting plot so I’ve decided to get a copy of the audiobook.

Okay, I know I haven’t been good with my goals but I’m working on it, promise. Haha! Anyway, I’m adding another one to my list… to learn how to sew. Shoe bags gave me the idea. Haha! I wanted to buy shoe bags but either I don’t like or it’s too expensive. So, I thought I’d make my own. I know the how to do basic stitches but I don’t know how to use a sewing machine. I’m actually scared I’d saw my fingers to the fabric. Haha! I’m going to ask my sister to teach me some time soon. Wish me luck!

… my morning hair. Bwahahaha!
